Hello world! Long time since I'v been on the forum!

Anyways I would like to develop a video loader for OpenGL, but what video format is the best? (With out paying a thousand dollars.)

I know Windows API has something for this already, but I'm planning on porting this loader too to Linux maybe since I have Ubuntu when ever the time comes.

Based on the torrents I've seen, avi is still popular.
