I developed one of ISS's flagship products, Lifecycle Procedure Management System. The application works in conjunction with a local Access database and a remote SQL server to manage data created by users in a large corporation, all the while keeping data secure and synchronized.

Working within the Matlab & Simulink development environment, I help to design a patented method and system for hapto-visual scene development and deployment.
A master computer is used to visually design a 3D haptic
scene. Target computers located across the Internet can monitor the 3D scene while the program is running or
they can interact with the master as well. For further information see the Haptic section.
Using a combination of USB, Ethernet and Serial communication means, I designed the flight simulator system shown in the figure below. The LabView development environment was used to connect all the pieces together. For a video of the system in action visit the hardware section.
For my final project in my undergraduate engineering degree, I worked with 3 other students to create a home security system. I was responsible for creating the communication protocol between our custom hardware and the PC. I also wrote the software that ran on the PC which was used to arm/disarm the system and it was used to monitor all activity of the hardware. A screen shot of the software is shown below.
